Project Art of Kriya - 12-04-2025
Project Art of Kriya is organized by Kriya Sharir Department where students made a chart presentation on different kriya sharir subject topics under the guidance of Dr. Abhishek Acharya (HOD) and Dr. Nana Burdak. Students performed well and presented their chart very well explained.
World Health Day, Elocution Competition - 07-04-2025
World Health Day 2025 is celebrated on April 7, 2025 by conducting elocution competition for students with the theme "Healthy beginnings, hopeful futures." This campaign focuses on improving maternal and newborn health, aiming to reduce preventable deaths and prioritize women's long-term well-being.
Department of Swasthavritta and NSS unit of K J Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Savli has celebrated World Health Day 2025 by conducting Elocution competition on the topic "Healthy beginnings, hopeful futures" (focusing on enhancing newborn and maternal health & survival). Students highlighted the important points like inequalities in healthcare access and outcomes, particularly for vulnerable populations and women lose their lives due to pregnancy or childbirth each year. Students from the various classes participated in the event. The program was concluded by giving prizes to the winners.
Report of Award Ceremony - 07-03-2025
Award Ceremony was held on 07/03/2025, at S B Pandya Auditorium Hall, KJ Campus, celebrating the achievements of our talented students.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome speech, followed by an inspiring address from the chief guests, who emphasized the importance of hard work and perseverance. Awards were presented in academic excellence. Each recipient was honored with medals and certificates, recognizing their dedication and success.
NIRVANA - Intercollege Yoga Competition - 01-03-2025
On 01-03-2025 Saturday an intercollegiate Yoga competition named NIRVANA was held at S.B. Pandya Auditorium KJ Campus Savli, arranged and organized by Swasthavritta department. The event was graced by our principal Dr Sarat Vasudev. The competition was for undergraduate Ayurveda students . 5 colleges from in and around Vadodara district had taken part in yoga competition. The syllabus and rules regarding the NIRVANA was provided to the competitors at the time of registration for competition. There were 2 rounds of Yoga demonstration for particpants. The participants were judged on the basis of stability during Aasanas, efficiency in movements and degree in difficulty.
The winner of NIRVANA was Yash Radhadiya, a second year student from government Ayurved college Vadodara. First runner up position was secured by Rinkal patel from KJ Institute of Ayurveda Savli , while second runner up being Vibhuti Marwaniya from JS Ayurved Mahavidyalaya Nadiad. Winners were awarded with cash prize of rupees 4000, 3000 and 1500 respectively along with certificate.. All the participants were awarded with certificates of participation.
Body Painting Spark - 2025 - 01-03-2025
Today on 01.03.25, Rachna sharir department organized a Body Painting competition at Seminar hall of K J Institute of Ayurveda and Research, We also invited Respected Trustee & Principal of K J Institute of Ayurveda and Research.

In the morning, Dhanvantari Puja - Yagya was performed by Kishan Joshi.
New batch of students of first porf received greetings from the institute. They took charak oath Infront of yagya and participated in yagya by giving Aahuti.
After that parent-teacher meeting was conducted in the afternoon.
Coordinators of the department were Dr. Sreedevi, Dr. Abhit Shah and Mr. Kishan Joshi.
Tour Report - Kerala - 4th Year (Batch 2020-21) - 20-01-2025 to 31-01-2025
Educational tour to Kerala was an exciting and enriching experience. Known as "God’s Own Country," Kerala is famous for its lush greenery, backwaters, hill stations, and cultural heritage. The tour provided us with insights into the traditional Ayurveda methods of panchkarma, natural beauty, history, and traditions of the state.
Visited, The Government Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Trivandrum and Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Hospital & Research Centre. Visiting these places offer a great opportunity to learn about traditional Indian medicine and its applications in healthcare.
Azimala Temple:
The Azhimala Shiva Temple, located in Thiruvananthapuram, is famous for its towering 58-ft Shiva statue, which is one of the tallest Shiva sculptures in India.
Padmanabhaswamy Temple:
The Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of the richest temples in the world, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
We observed its Dravidian and Kerala-style architecture, intricate carvings, and grand corridors.
- Kolukkumalai Trekking:
- We trekked to the world’s highest tea plantation, witnessing a breathtaking sunrise.
- The journey was challenging due to steep terrain and early morning ascent.
- We also explored traditional tea-making processes at the Kolukkumalai Tea Factory.
- Wildlife Jungle Safari:
- The safari took place in [Name of Wildlife Reserve/National Park], where we spotted elephants, deer, and exotic birds.
- We learned about the importance of conservation and wildlife protection.
- The safari was thrilling, but patience was required as sightings were unpredictable.
- Jatayu Earth Centre:
- We visited the world’s largest bird sculpture, representing the mythological Jatayu.
- The site provided a unique blend of history, culture, and adventure sports like ziplining and rock climbing.

UN announces the World Meditation Day, K J Institute of Ayurveda celebrates the World Meditation Day on 21.12.2024 at KJ campus, and there been participated by the faculties, teachers and students of K J institute of Ayurveda and Research, K J Institute of Technology, K J Vidhyamandir School, Gnyan Shakti School of Excellence.
They got benefited with a practice and motivated by meditation.

Teacher’s Training Program Organised by Gujarat Ayurved University and Hosted by K J Institute of Ayurveda and Research Savli. Gujarat Ayurved University Organised a Teachers Training Program to Understand a New Examination Pattern Instructed by Ncism, and It Been Hosted at K J Institute of Ayurveda and Research Savli, a Great Success of This Program is That Pricipals and Faculties of 11 Colleges Were Participated and Get Benifited With New Knowledge.
Sanskrit Story (संस्कृतवार्ता दर्शनम्) - 18-09-2024
It is informing that under Sanskrit club, Sanskrit story watch(संस्कृतवार्तादर्शनम्) was organized on 18/09/2024. In which 55 students and other faculty and student members took part.
Benefits
From this session everyone saw the characters talking in Sanskrit language. The curious participants asked questions, from which new knowledge of Sanskrit language was obtained.
Guest Lecture Series - 3 on the occasion of Teacher’s Day Celebration - 05-09-2024
Today on 05.09.24, Department of Kriya sharir organized a Guest Lecture on the Topic of “AYURVEDA : CLASSICS TO CLINIC” for all the students of KJIAR, By Dr Rakesh Salve (Director of Ayurved, Professor & HOD, Department of RS& BK, Aarihant Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Institute, Gandhinagar).
He is delivered a great knowledge of ayurveda, and motivate the students for the ayurveda clinical practice, and also taught the how scientifically read a Samhitas that is original textbooks of ayurveda.
Students are also enjoyed his humorous delivery of the topic.
Yoga Day Celebration 2024 - 21-06-2024
10th International Yoga day was celebrated by the students and the teachers of KJ Institute of Ayurveda and research on 21st June 2024 with great enthusiasm. Principals and staffs of various institutions of KJ Campus took part in the celebration along with their staffs.
The programme was successfully coordinated by Dr Vikas Karthik, Associate Professor and Dr Nijil RS Assistant Professor from Dept of Swasthavritta under guidance of Dr Hrishikesh Gaitonde, Principal KJIAR Savli. He enlighten us with his beautiful thoughts on Yoga.
The programme continued with common yoga protocol for 30minutes. Which includes loosening exercises, asana, pranayama and meditation. Later certificates and cash prize for various yoga competition conducted by Dept of Swasthavritta were distributed to the winners. Finally the event concluded with Vote of Thanks by Dr Mahesh (HOD, Dept of Roga nidana). Afterwards there was a small photo session and high Tea.

Meditation Session on World Meditation Day 2024
The inaugural World Meditation day was celebrated by the students and the teachers of KJ Institute of Ayurveda and research on 21st December 2024 at with great enthusiasm. Principals and staffs of various institutions of KJ Campus took part in the celebration along with their staffs.
The programme was successfully coordinated by Dr Nijil R. S Assistant Professor and Dr Manisha Singh, Assistant Professors of Dept. of Swasthavritta under guidance of Dr Hrishikesh Gaitonde, Principal KJIAR Savli. The function began at 9.30am with Prayer followed by welcome address by Dr Nijil RS.
The programme continued with for 10 minutes of meditation session. Which includes Mindful meditation and Om meditation. Finally the event was concluded with small photo session.
Field visit to GMERS Medical College, Gotri, Vadodara
The field visit was arranged by the Dept. of Rachana sharir for the First Year B.A.M.S students in Gujarat Medical Education & Research Society, GMERS Medical College, Gotri, Vadodara on 12.08.2024.
The 56 Students along with Dr. Bhushan Dhawale (HOD), & Dr. Kavitha M. were accompanied with the students.

This event is organised by Sanskrit club of K J Institute of Ayurveda. Participants have to do proper mantrocchar with rag and sandhi vicched.
“Millets-The Superfood” recipe competition
“Millets-The Superfood” recipe competition, organized by dept of RS&BK, K.J. Institute of Ayurved & Reseach, Savli, Vadodara On 14/July/2023.
Motto of the event was to celebrate International year of millets and bring awareness to people about the role and benefits of millets in daily life. In this event, more emphasize was given over the taste with its nutrient value of the recipe, as normally people do not use millets like- ragi (finger millet), Juwar (Sorghum millet), Bajra (pearl millet), Moraiya (Little millet) etc.
Total 11 teams with 28 students of different colleges participated in the events. Recipes prepared my teams were Ragi Mungdi, Yavanal Fritters, jowar ragi stuffed vadas, Ragi puttu, Satvik jumarin chilla, Diet smoothies, Rajgiri paneer stuffed paratha, Bajara bite’s laddu, Kodrav kheer and ragi poori, Jowar-ragi Dhokla, chilled finger smoothie, Veg. nachni tacos, Italian nachni tacos, maxican nachni tacos, choco ragi tacos, Jowar cutlet & chilla.
Event was judged by Dietician Mrs. Dhara Bhatt and institute trustee Mr. Stavan Pandya. First, second and third prize was given to Diet Smoothies, Bajara Bits and Yavanal Fritters respectively. Appreciation prize and certificate of participation was given to all the participants.
Project K models exhibition
Today on 06.07.24, Kriya sharir department organized a exhibition of Models and charts at Seminar hall of K J Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Exhibition named as “Project K”, where the students and teachers of K J Vidyamandir are invited to see the exhibition and they really enjoyed the exhibition and got information about the medical science, physiology of different systems of the body. We also invited the faculties and students of K J Institute of Ayurveda and Research.
Nadiad Field Visit
Dept. of Rachana Sharir arranged a field visit for the I yr B.A.M.S Students of KJIAR, Savli to the J.S. Ayurveda mahavidyalay, Nadiad. Which has a wonderful Anatomy Museum with various rare specimen in it.
World Anatomy Day
The event was organized by the Dept. of Rachana Sharir of K.J. Institute of Ayurveda & Research, Savli, Vadodara, Gujarat.
The "World Anatomy Day" was celebrated in the memory of Great Belgian Physician from the 16th century Andreas Vesalius who founded Modern Human Anatomy.
The dept. has organized a Campus level Competition for the students of Ayurveda, Engineering & diploma.

The exhibition of event was open for the Students & Faculty after the 03:00 Pm in the Seminar Hall in K.J. Institute of Ayurveda & Research.
The Prize distribution was done in the presence of Dr. Hrishikesh Gaitonde Sir (Principal) of our college, Dr. Milind Bhoir (Deputy Medical Superintendent), And all Other Faculty Members of College & Students at 03:30 Pm.

Janmashtami Celebration 2021
As a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahostav celebration to showcase Unity in diversity, on occasion of Janmashtami festival various cultural events like folk dance, stories of Krishna, bhajans, songs, Aarati, Dahi-handi and Lazim dance performed by students also to spread the message of swadeshi and khadi all the students and faculty wore traditional Indian dress.

Doctors Day Celebration - 2021
1st July is celebrated as Doctor's Day in India. It is marked to honour the saviours and acknowledge their service to the mankind. Doctors are placed next to God. Students of KJ Institute of Ayurveda and Research organized an informative as well as fun filled event to celebrate the Doctors and Professors of our institution. Like any other prestigious occasion it started with a prayer and lamp lighting by the Chief Guests - Shri. Dharmesh Pandya Sir, Dr. Manoj Runghe Sir, Mrs. Nita Mam, Dr. Rakesh Goyal Sir, and Dr. Dattatreya Sir. To regard our Professors and Doctors we gave them roses as a token of respect.
Followed by a speech by our respectable Trustee and Principal Sir. Then, our deputy superintendent, Mrs. Nita Mam spoke a few words. One of our senior most faculty Dr. Dattatreya enlightened us on ancient ayurveda 4th Year Student Roshan Raval explained about the scope after BAMS and another 4th year student Happy Parmar lightened the mood by singing a song and concluded the educational part.
On this occasion games and fun activities for students were organized including singing, mimicry, acting, musical chairs. The winners were awarded with prizes.
Doctor's day well spent indeed!
Yoga Day Celebration - 2021
The staff and faculties of K.J campus Centre celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2021 @ 7am under the able guidance of Dr Manoj Runghe principal K.J institute of Ayurveda Dr. Vikas Karthik, Associate professor Department of Swathavritta organized the program and Dr Nijil RS assistant professor demonstrated the yoga other K.J campus members performed different Yoga and Pranayama postures with objective to keep their mind and body healthy. Dr. Kapil jani, gave welcome speech on yoga day celebrations and also gave brief introduction of inception of yoga saying about the significance of Yoga word derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Yuj’ means to join or unite. It is believed to have evolved during the period of ‘Sat Yug’. He continued briefing about the advantages of performing yoga to human body, especially for mental health and physical fitness. He mentioned in Indian traditions, the yoga is more than the physical exercise; it has a meditative and spiritual core. Dr Rahul and Dr Samadhan blessed the occasion with prayer and yoga geet.

Flow Chart Competition - June 2021
K J Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Savli, Vadodara have organized a flow chart competition for B.A.M.S. students, following are the presentations of the winners:
Shishopanayan Samskara (Batch 2020-21)
Shishopanayan samskara, the induction of disciples, to their world of knowledge. A gorgeous and traditional function was organized in KJIAR campus for the blessing of our students, by the hardship and dedication of a well-organized team of faculties and students. It starts with welcoming and incorporating our undergraduates and their family to our KJ family by applying ‘TILAKA’, the signing of blessing over their forehead. There after the Holy Havan(offering), that marks the beginning of pure and energetic gathering. Followed by elegant speeches by eminent personalities which was so inspirative and thought provoking. The whole event was held upon the blessing of our beloved management and trustee, our back bone.
